Monster Island, the Asylum's 2019 mockbuster, was released around the same time as Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is about a mysterious island where a monstrous creature lives, and the creature is, in a sense, the island itself.


To cut costs, only a handful of human characters are used in the film. The A-listers are kept on one set so that they can all shoot sequences at lunch. Let's not forget, this is a film about kaiju, Monster Island by Decker Shado so it's pretty much how they work. Maybe The Asylum will be able to do a good job with it.
